The Groveton Indians 2022-2023 varsity football season has officially come to an end. This team has gone out on the field and given it their best every week, regardless of their challenges. They finished the season with three wins and seven losses, sealing a spot in the playoffs. They went to Jasper and played the Timpson Bears in the first round. Unfortunately, they had a heartbreaking defeat after a long and hard-fought game. With the score being 60-3, the Indians left that night knowing that their season had ended but that there was an even better one to come in the future.

However, even though the Indians were eliminated in the playoffs, We are very proud of our boys. They’ve worked and played very hard this season. We are also happy that all the boys got to experience the feeling of going to the playoffs; it was very much deserved. Especially our senior players because, for many of them, this will have been the last game they play. We all wish our boys the best of luck for the next season. See you next year!
